Aww, Marco Gallo And Heaven Peralejo Admit Missing Each Other A Year After Their Breakup

About a year after their breakup, Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo admitted that they still miss each other.

The former couple reunited at the Our Yesterday's Escape press conference on July 29, 2026. The event marked the final installment of Gwy Saludes' University Series adaptation, which began with The Rain in España—the rom-com drama series where Heaven and Marco worked together.

During the event, Marco admitted that he missed Heaven after everything they went through. "Na-miss ko lang. Okay lang ba 'yun? Na-miss mo ba ako, Heaven? Madali lang sagot, oo o hindi," Gallo said playfully.

Heaven also admitted feeling the same way. "Ilang years kami magkasama—and yes. Na-miss ko si Marco," she shared.

Marco later reflected on where they stand today, sharing that while they went through a difficult phase after their breakup, they've since moved forward.

"We are exes and everything. Obviously as exes, nagkaroon kami ng phase na nagkaka-initan kami. Pero ngayon mas sobrang okay na kami. Walang galit. Walang kahit ano. I am happy being around you. The others have seen it. It is fun to work with you," he said.

The two also shared a lighthearted moment on stage, with Marco helping Heaven wipe her face as fans cheered around them.

Heaven and Marco's story goes all the way back to 2016 when they became friends during their time on Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7. Since then, they continued their friendship through different projects and moments outside the show.

Fast forward to 2022, the two announced that they would be working together on The Rain in España. When the series aired a year later in 2023, fans quickly noticed how close they had become. They shared different moments together, including trips to Siargao and Boracay, as well as their oh-so-sweet appearance together at that year's Preview Ball.

It wasn't until 2024, however, that they officially confirmed their relationship through an Instagram hard launch. Marco greeted Heaven on her 25th birthday, calling her "Mahal," and the two exchanged "I love yous" in the comments section.

Despite fans rooting for their relationship, the couple eventually broke up in 2025. At the time, Heaven was working on her film I Love You Since 1982 and shared in an interview that their decision to part ways was mutual.

"We're not together anymore. It was a mutual decision to move forward individually. We're okay. We're good friends," Heaven said.

In May 2026, Heaven opened up more about their breakup during her guest appearance on Tonight With Boy Abunda. She described their relationship as a "beautiful love" and admitted that the breakup was painful to go through.

"I've realized na hindi naman lahat ng tao is meant to stay forever in your life. And sometimes, dapat nandun lang siya sa season na 'yun ng istorya ng buhay mo," she shared.

She also admitted that she initially felt angry after the breakup but eventually reflected on both their shortcomings in the relationship.

Now, the former couple appears to be on good terms as they continue working within the same industry and under the same artist agency. ❤️‍🩹
