Singer-songwriter Syd Hartha just had a big revelation on her Instagram account.

The 17-year-old shared a lengthy post along with a series of screenshots of conversations with who appears to be her father, Eraserheads lead guitarist Marcus Adoro, and Marcus' ex-partner, indie film actress Barbara Ruaro

The post started off with Syd talking about the many years she yearned to feel her father's presence in her life. She eventually got to know him more over the course of a year, and there, she found her answers. This is where Syd reveals she experienced all sorts of abuse from her dad. For a while, she tried hard to fight against what other people were saying, believing that there was still goodness in him.

She goes on to refer to her father using a nickname, "Makoy," talking about how she tried multiple times to get away from him, but failing to do so because "ang galing niyang makuha ako pabalik."

Syd shared she was physically abused on several occasions, even right in front of her friends or when her mother's back was turned. "Tinatama niya ulo ko sa pader," Syd revealed. "I never realized then na I might be interrupting his karma. I should've done better but I know I tried to help myself as much as I could."

Syd is completely terrified up to this day that she might suffer the same experience of abuse again and that others might go through the same ordeal. "Sana magsilbi itong gabay sa lahat. This monster could be anywhere now doing who else knows what. Let’s watch out for each other."

A few days ago, Marcus' ex-partner Barbara shared disturbing photos of herself with clear signs of physical abuse, such as a black eye, bruises on her arm, and a cut behind her ear. She talked about how she initially felt the abuse was her fault, and how she now vows to fight for her cause. She did not name her abuser, whom she said wanted her to "quit my career and just devote my life to him," and threatened her that he would commit suicide if she left him.

"I am very very afraid, but I won't be silenced by the fear he has instilled. Not this time. I will make sure justice is served."

"I will hold my abuser accountable. I will not be silenced," said Barbara in another Facebook post.

Syd has a song out called "Ayaw," which has lyrics such as "'Pag sinabi kong ayaw, ayaw ko talaga; 'di ako nagpapapilit, masyadong mahigpit ang kapit niya."
