You guys, model-turned-beauty queen Maureen Wroblewitz is adding actress to her already impressive resume. Maureen is all set to make her acting debut alongside Kit Thompson in the romantic travel film Runaway.
What's the plot of Runaway?
Maureen will play the role of Hannah, a woman who *runs away* from her sheltered life in Manila by traveling to New Zealand. She crosses paths with Ben, a Filipino who desperately wishes to go back home to the Philippines.
"I've been so excited to announce this and the day has finally come. With just a few months of Tagalog classes and no acting workshop, I have embarked on this journey and what a beautiful journey it was," the 23-year-old aspiring beauty queen excitedly shared on Instagram Friday, August 13. Maureen also gave a special shoutout to her co-star Kit. "Thank you to @kitthompson for annoying me most of the time. Thank you for being a great first on-screen partner!"
When can we watch Runaway?
