The TV and movie landscape is filled with remakes, and even K-Dramas are no exception! When done right, remakes can become immediate classics. Take, for instance, 2009's Boys Over Flowers, which is based on the popular Japanese manga and took Asia by storm. These days, more dramas are giving its own South Korean take on equally popular titles, even from the U.S. Here are some shows that you should definitely check out the next time you decide to stay in.

Suits

Based on the long-running American legal drama of the same name, Suits revolves around Choi Kang Seok (Jang Dong Gun), a brilliant lawyer in a prestigious legal firm. He hires a rookie lawyer named Yeon Woo (Park Hyung Sik), a young man with an impressive photographic memory but *plot twist*Yeon Woo doesn't have a license to practice law.

Entourage

Based on the HBO series, Entourage follows a rising actor (Seo Kang Joon) and his group of friends as they navigate the risky world of stardom. The series also stars Lee Kwang Soo, Park Jung Min, Lee Dong Hwi, and Cho Jin Woong.

Criminal Minds

Just like the popular American series of the same name, Criminal Minds follows a group of highly skilled criminal profilers who solve cases by delving into the fascinating minds of criminals.

Witch's Romance

This 2014 drama revolves around Ji Yeon (Uhm Jung Hwa), a 39-year-old news reporter who cares for nothing except her job, and Dong Ha (Park Seo Joon), a happy-go-lucky 25-year-old. Despite their age difference, sparks immediately fly as they learn they have much more in common than they realize. The series is a remake of the 2009 Taiwanese drama, Queen of No Marriage.

Mother

A remake of an award-winning Japanese series, Mother has Lee Bo Young playing a substitute teacher in an elementary school who learns that one of her students is being abused at home. In order to save the child, she impulsively decides to kidnap her student and becomes her mother.

The Good Wife

Lee Tae Joon (Yoo Ji Tae) is a successful prosecutor whose seemingly perfect life falls apart when he is arrested after being involved in a scandal. His devoted wife (Jeon Do Yeon), whose legal career took a backseat to her husband's for 15 years, returns to work and rediscovers herself along the way. This drama is based on the popular American series that ran from 2009 to 2016.

Mistress

Up for a thrilling murder-mystery? This K-Drama, which is based on the U.K. series called Mistresses, follows four women whose scandalous lives get even more complicated when they are involved in a series of murders.
