President of the Miss Grand International organization Nawat Itsaragrisil and Miss Universe 2025 first runner up Veena Singh didn't pass up the chance to have a photo-op with Bea after the coronation.

Meanwhile, Michelle Dee welcomed Bea into the "sisterhood" through an Instagram Story post. Miss Grand International 2024 CJ Opiaza also extended her congratulations, recognizing Bea's performance and well-earned victory.

Kirk Bondad—who also vlogged his experience during the coronation announcement—offered a deeper perspective on what truly defines a standout contestant. He emphasized that pageant judging goes far beyond surface-level impressions, pointing instead to the importance of emotional composure and the ability to remain grounded under pressure, especially in a room filled with equally accomplished candidates.
"What really separates contestants, in my opinion, is emotional composure. I notice whose energy changes depending on who walks into the room," Kirk said.
"I notice who still treats people warmly after long rehearsals, stressful schedules, and disappointing moments. Some contestants know how to shine when attention is on them, but the rare ones remain elegant even when it shifts away from them," he added.
He further underscored that "pressure eventually exposes personality," emphasizing that character plays a crucial role in determining a winner.
Bea Millan-Windorski On Winning Miss Universe Philippines 2026
With the crown now on her head, Bea has her sights set on a bigger goal: bringing home the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown. In a press interview after the competition, she shared that the next seven months will be dedicated to intensive training—refining every aspect of her performance in the pageant—ensuring she steps onto the international stage fully prepared to represent the country.
"It will be a long seven months and an intensive seven months, but I'm very driven to bring back the fifth crown to the Philippines because I believe we're going through so much right now and we deserve a win," Bea expressed.
"So this crown would not just be for me, it would be for every Filipino within our country and beyond our borders," she added.
The competition was held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and hosted by Marina Summers, the first transwoman to host the beauty pageant. With nearly 50 women from across the country vying for one crown, this year's competition is simply impossible to ignore.
From the very beginning, the tone was clear: this was a competition with purpose. In her opening statement, Marina urged MUPH fans to vote wisely for their candidates, a message that resonated beyond the pageant stage and into the broader civic landscape.
"The stakes are high, and everybody is understandably invested in this pageant. Let's just hope we have the same standards when we elect our country’s future leaders. Tama, mali?" she opened.
The Drag Race community quickly took notice, amplifying the moment and recognizing how she used her platform to stand for something bigger.
Journalist and news reporter Jervi Wrightson also underscored the significance of this year's competition, highlighting its strong message on representation. In a post on X, she wrote, "You can say whatever you want about Marina’s hosting, but the fact that she's there on stage… A trans woman hosting the biggest beauty pageant in the country speaks volumes."
Indeed, this year's segment stood out as especially meaningful, marked by the presence of notable personalities such as Veena Singh, Celeste Cortesi, Gazini Ganados, and Rabiya Mateo. Cosmopolitan Philippines' very own Executive Editor, Ida Aldana, is part of this year's selection committee!
We can't wait for Bea to carry the Philippine flag on the Miss Universe 2026 stage this November in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
