It's the second week of October and Halloween is almost upon us! We bet you're ready to binge-watch new content, whether it's chilling at home with your laptop or going out to watch in movie theaters.
1. Halloween
This is the 11th installment of the franchise but, get this, it's directly connected to the first film! This year, Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers—the masked figure who has haunted her since she escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Release Date: October 17
2. Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina
Based on the comic book series of the same name, this live-action television show from Netflix tells the story of Sabrina, a half-witch half-mortal who has to choose between two worlds on her sixteenth birthday. Straight from the producers of Riverdale, this version of Sabrina is much darker than previous adaptations. There might be cannibalism. Seriously.
Release Date: October 26
3. Hell Fest
On Halloween night (of course), three girls and their respective boyfriends head to "Hell Fest," a traveling carnival that features scary rides, games, and mazes. What was supposed to be a chill night becomes a nightmare as a masked serial killer decides to attack attendees of the horror theme park. F-U-N.
Release Date: October 10
4. Riverdale
It's not exactly new, considering that we're on the third season, but fan-favorite Riverdale will be returning this month! This season involves holding babies over what seems to be a sacrifical fire and Archie in (gasps) handcuffs.
Release Date: October 11
