Nico Bolzico is home for the holidays, spending precious time with his pregnant wife Solenn Heussaff's clan. In a recent Instagram post, Nico announces that he's finally made it to the famous Heussaff Christmas family photo and shared a few cute anecdotes.
He wrote: "First year to make it to the famous Huessaff Christmas picture. Becoming part of the Heussaff clan was not easy, I knew I was competing with two very loved and experienced [in-laws.]
Firstly we have Grant, who has known the Heussaffs since 1985, he was Vanesa’s first love, they split for a while to get back together forever, a perfect love story; plus Kaeden and Makena, the cutest kids on earth (they loved by the way). Louis only opens the best wine with Grant, they drink something called Pastisse together and he calls Cynthia mum! So yes, Grant was very well established, so I knew was not going to be easy.
Secondly, Plus! (Anne), one of the most (if not the most) loved persons in the Philippines. All cute and bubbly, always bringing so much happiness to the Heussaffs family, and of course, completely dominating Erwan. Plus [she] arrived in the Heussaff Clan around a year before me, and she made her way into their hearts fairly quick. That was ok with me until I realized she my biggest threat at the table; on Sundays, we implicitly compete for the bread and any other carb available, and when the Britanny Butter is out, we take no prisoners! Now that she is pregnant, she has all the benefits, so I can only eat her leftovers, so not much.
Then #ELBolzico came. I knew that being a good boyfriend for Solenn was not going to be enough because there is not good enough boyfriend for such a kind and sexy person. So, to enter the clan and get the Christmas Boot Hanging on the wall, I went for a double-cross, becoming Erwan’s best friend. It is started as a mission, but we rapidly got to know each other and today we are best friends (he might deny but everyone knows I am his best friend, he is in my top 5 also).
On top [of these], I keep a close relationship with Vanessa, who I call Hermana, and became the top 3 favorite Tito of Kaeden and Makena. Complementing every dish of Cynthia (deserved, especially the Kasava Cake) is another of my strategies to get accepted.
Since 2011 that I have been part of the Heussaff Clan, and after all my efforts I can proudly say today that I am the favorite in-law of Cynthia and Louis! Great effort Anne and Grant don't be sad, you lost to the best!"

Solenn and Nico tied the knot in May 2016. In August of this year, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child. Solenn's sister-in-law, Anne, is also expecting her first child, a girl, with husband Erwan Heussaff.
