The Story Behind Noah Centineo's Face Scar Is So Intense

You know you've been wondering how he got it....

By now you've probably met your new boyfriend, Noah Centineo. He stars in Netlix's viral YA rom-com  To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and looks like this:

You've also probably noticed that he has a mysterious scar on his face—much like Kate Middleton and Prince William.

So, how did Noah get his scar? Basically, a dog was so overcome by his coolness that it was like OMG LET ME BITE YOU. But Noah tells the story better, so let me throw it over to him:

"I got attacked by a dog," he explained to Buzzfeed. "I got attacked when I was six years old by a Mastiff. He ripped a hole in my face, so you could see my teeth, my gums, and all the way through my tongue to the other side. There was a massive, gaping hole."

Yikes. But fear not—Noah was obviously fine, as was the Mastiff: "The dog didn't know what it was doing. I specifically remember him lunging, being pulled away from him, and then looking back and seeing him cock his head like he didn't really understand what happened. Some people were like, 'Do you wanna put the dog down?' I was crying, like, 'No, he didn't mean to do it!'"
