The Saturday Night Live star spoke candidly about his experience, saying "I got a death threat. Someone wanted to shoot me in the face because she's so hot. Do you know how insane that is? I was like, 'Am I that ugly that people want to shoot me in the face?' They're like, 'No, fuck this guy,' I'm like, 'What did I do?'"
Presumably, terrifying moments like this are part of the reason Pete decided to take a break from Instagram—not to mention social media in general.
He told Stern that he doesn't even have a way to access his Instagram account, saying "I don't have my password. I have an account in case I have to do something, but I don't know how to go on there. I can't. I don't fucking care. It makes me feel weird about myself... If I post something I like and then people just shit all over it, it was like, 'You're asking for it.'"
A life without Insta?
