On Saturday, actress/comedienne/television host Rufa Mae Quinto announced that she would be joining the world of vlogging.
Rufa Mae is famous for her distinct energetic lines, such as "todo na 'to," "to the highest level," and "go, go, go!" She married her non-showbiz husband Trevor Magallanes in 2016 and they have a one-year-old daughter named Alexandria.
This morning, Rufa Mae posted a Waze "audition" video after receiving multiple requests from fans. "'Wag muna maingay," she admonishes, as we hear someone turning on the faucet to wash dishes in the background. Here are some of our favorite lines:
"Steady lang, don't rush, keep calm, and carry on!"
"Don't forget the clutch, kung hindi automatic ang car."
We can practically feel the exclamation points after every sentence! Rufa Mae's directions may be confusing during a real-life navigation, but we all need this dose of good vibes, especially on a Monday.
Here's Rufa Mae and fellow comedian Ethel Booba trying the Waze navigation voice during an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice:
