In her latest vlog titled, "Bolz To Be A Mom," Solenn talked about the significant highs and lows of her pregnancy journey. She filmed herself three weeks prior to giving birth and said, “It’s been such a rollercoaster.”
She began by saying, “Basically, what you go through, you don’t learn in school. It just kinda happens and you learn as you go. It can be freaky, but if you know that other people are going through the same thing, then you do feel better about yourself.”
Solenn, who announced her pregnancy in August 2019 with a conceptual photoshoot, shared that she got pregnant in April 2019.
The actress, who stars in the GMA-7 teleserye Love You Two, shared that she was working during the first five months of her pregnancy. She said, “Throughout my whole pregnancy, I would say I have had the easiest pregnancy ever.” She went on to describe some of the things she didn’t experience while pregnant, including mood swings and food cravings.
However, in her fifth month of pregnancy, Solenn revealed that her baby was really small which got her and Nico very worried. She said, “It was the worst two weeks of my life. I remember Nico and I were crying almost every day.”
Solenn revealed that she found out she was prone to thrombosis and was prescribed injections. Nico was with her throughout the whole ordeal as she said, “My husband was so good at being my nurse.”
The injections helped Solenn and she was able to maintain a good weight for her and the baby. Along with the injections, Solenn took healthy meals with a good mix of protein, vegetables, and good carbohydrates. Later on, however, she was put on a 3,000-calorie diet.
The video also showed snippets when Solenn and Nico went on a road trip to go on a “babymoon,” as well as her baby shower where the couple had a few close friends and relatives for a casual Sunday barbecue, and of course, Solenn’s fun editorial maternity photoshoot.
Ending her video, Solenn assured other expectant moms as she said, “I hope you guys learned a little bit from this journey of mine, and to all the pringles out there, just be patient and know you are not alone.”
