You can now call longtime couple Sophie Albert, 30, and Vin Abrenica, 29, certified parents because they just welcomed their first child to the world! Today, March 15, Sophie posted an intimate snap of her daughter's super-small hand, and wrote the date of her birth in the caption: "03.15.21" Yup, her birthday is today!
Vin also posted the same photo on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "Our little princess."
Sophie and Vin met as contestants on TV5's Artista Academy in 2012. They've been together for eight years, got engaged in December 2020, but only revealed it last February! The GMA-7 actress recently spoke about their ~unplanned pregnancy~ and revealed that although she always knew that she and Vin were end game, they never had any clear-cut plans about their future—that is, until Sophie got pregnant. The baby, she feels, was probably a sign for them to start settling down: "We knew naman, pero hindi pa kami on the point na parang we're setting a date na itong year na ito, kailangan ganito…So feeling ko, si God na rin ang nagbigay ng, 'O, 'eto, para gumalaw-galaw kayo sa personal life niyo.' Kasi kung hindi talaga, wala e."
