South Korean Police Have Issued A Statement On Goo Hara's Passing

Police found a hand-written note in the singer's living room.

There’s a new development on the untimely passing of K-pop singer and former KARA member Goo Hara. On November 25, South Korean police have issued a statement on the death of Hara who was found dead inside her home on November 24.

According to a report from Soompi, Commissioner Lee Yong Pyo of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, “There was a hand-written note found on the table in her living room.” Another police source said, “There is nothing we can reveal about the contents of the note.”

Commissioner Yong Pyo said that Hara’s housekeeper discovered the singer and actress at around 6:00 p.m on November 24. He said, “Based on on-site inspection and testimony from her family, there are no suspicions of a crime.”

CCTV footage revealed that Hara returned home on November 24 at about 12:35 a.m. The Commissioner said, “It is presumed that she passed away after that time.” The police also confirmed that Hara did not have any visitors between that time and before the housekeeper found her at 6:00 p.m.


The Commissioner said, “The housekeeper had maintained a close relationship with Hara for a long time. She went to her home after she attempted to contact Hara and received no response.”
