Here's The Teaser Trailer For Lee Min Ho's Latest Drama, 'The King: Eternal Monarch'

ICYDK, Lee Min Ho is starring in his latest K-drama: The King: Eternal Monarch. It will be the actor’s comeback drama since appearing in Legend of the Blue Sea which came out in 2016.

On Instagram, SBS shared a teaser trailer of the upcoming drama, and it looks super promising:

Min Ho’s voiceover translates to: “I am the emperor of the Korean Empire, and my name is Lee Gon,” Soompi reported.

The King: Eternal Monarch, tackles the concept of parallel universes—one a monarchy, while the other a democracy. Min Ho will star as Emperor Lee Gon, who will attempt to close the door between two worlds. His co-star, actress Kim Go Eun, will play Jung Tae Eul, a detective who works with the emperor to protect the people.

Produced by Hwa&Dam Pictures, Min Ho will work with screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, who also wrote The Heirs which came out in 2013.

The drama is slated for release in the first half of 2020 and it will be aired on SBS every Friday and Saturday.
