Attention all Lara Jean fans: our long wait is over. Jenny Han's best-selling novel To All The Boys I've Loved Before will soon come to life on Netflix. It's been four years since the YA novel hit the shelves, and we're more than ready to get ~*kilig*~ and see it come alive!

With a little more than a month away 'til the movie drops on Netflix, it's time to dust off your books and refresh your memory about Lara Jean's story.

To help you through it, here's a cheat sheet of what you should know before watching To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

The Predicament

When you were a teenager, you've probably done something similar: write love letters to your crushes that you had no intention of sending. Whether it was just to vent your emotions or you were too shy to ~make amin~, those letters were for your viewing pleasure alone.

But what if through some mysterious way, the letters got out and found their way to each and every one of your crushes? What would you do?!

Or in this case, what would Lara Jean do?

The novel's main character, Lara Jean Song Covey, will be played Lana Condor whom you might remember as Jubilee from the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse.

This will be Lana's first lead role in a movie, and we're more than excited to see her bring to life the beloved 16-year-old character.

(Side note: Her reaction to being on the book cover is so cute!)

The Boys She's Loved Before

Israel Broussard as Josh Sanders

The Bling Ring alumnus plays Josh Sanders, one of the recipients of Lara Jean's love letters. Interestingly, Josh also happens to be the boyfriend of Lara Jean's older sister, so we can't wait to see what happens with this!

Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky

No stranger to acting and movies, the Disney star will play Peter Kavinsky, Lara Jean's longtime friend... and apparently longtime crush.

John Corbett as Dr. Dan Covey

This rom-com legend, whom you might've seen from Sex and the City and My Big Fat Greek Wedding among others, was cast to play Lara Jean's loving and sweet father.

When You Can Watch

Mark your calendars! The movie is set to be released on August 17, 2018. Another film that comes out on the same date is Crazy Rich Asians, so you could probably block off everything you have to do that day and watch these films driven by Asian women.

Will There Be More?

As fans may know, Jenny Han's novel became a trilogy, having the first book followed by P.S. I Still Love You, and then with Always and Forever, Lara Jean. Though it's too early to tell whether or not a sequel is already in the works, we could only hope for the best to see what happens next in Lara Jean's story. (Please make it happen, Netflix!)
