Sexual pleasure is v important for us women, and the Eluvo Health Clinic in Parqal, Paranaque City totally gets that.

ICYDK, the newly opened Eluvo Health Clinic is among the few clinics in the Philippines offering the O-Shot. The O-Shot, which stands for orgasm shot, is a non-surgical procedure for women that involves injecting Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) into the clitoral area to help enhance sexual function and arousal, potentially increasing orgasmic pleasure by up to five(!) times!

Dr. Carol Joanna "Jaycy" Violago-Olivarez, an obstetrician-gynecologist and the founder of Eluvo Health Clinic, explained that PRP plays a role in vaginal rejuvenation by enhancing sensation, which is closely linked to a woman’s sexual pleasure.

"For patients, they've actually reported improvement of sexual satisfaction and orgasm by three to five times more," Dr. Jaycy shared.

"It's not just for women who have low libido, but generally it would be great, if you have difficulty climaxing," she added.

Currently, the O-Shot is priced at P25,000 at the clinic. While walk-in appointments are accepted, patients are encouraged to book online through the clinic's official website. Appointments may also be scheduled via email at coordinator@eluvohealth.com.

Aside from the O-Shot, Eluvo Health Clinic offers a comprehensive range of services centered on sexual and hormonal health, catering to women at every stage of life, from early adulthood to perimenopause and menopause. The clinic's services are organized into seven categories: Fertility, Maternal Health, Family Planning, Sexual Health, Hormone Health, Wellness Diagnosis, and Care Programs.

Among its other notable services is the Basic Vaginal Rejuvenation, which, according to Dr. Jaycy, focuses on vaginal tightening through enhanced collagen production.

"Similar is when we do laser for our face. So we usually offer it for patients who are experiencing vaginal dryness, pain during intercourse, women who are postpartum. Also, women who experience incontinence," she elaborated.

Dr. Jaycy shared that Eluvo's mission is anchored on a three-pronged approach to wellness: awareness, institution, and community. She emphasized that although women comprise around 60% of the Filipino population, there remains a significant lack of medical and health infrastructure dedicated to addressing women's reproductive and sexual health needs.

"Globally, women's health is already behind. It's something that has been needed for so long. Another problem that we're trying to solve here," Dr. Jaycy said.

In line with this, the clinic also offers on-site laboratory services, so there’s no need to go to different locations for tests. Everything can be done in one place, with results ready in just 45 to 60 minutes, which is much faster than the usual one-week waiting time at hospitals.

When Should You Prioritize Your Reproductive And Sexual Health?

For Dr. Jaycy, consulting a professional about their hormonal and reproductive health knows no age—proper medical guidance is relevant for women and girls at every stage of life.

"When you're young, you need guidance. You can start off as early as if you have your menses. If we're talking about preventive care, in other countries, they actually do HPV vaccination as early as 11 years old because it's actually more effective if there is no sexual contact yet," Dr. Jaycy explained.

"Talking about pap smear, pap smear should be as early as 21 years old or as soon as you're sexually active, after 18 years old, because that one screens for cervical cancer," she added.

Dr. Jaycy also clarified that seeking professional help does not always mean undergoing invasive or serious procedures, or waiting until you’re pregnant. In many cases, consultations may simply involve basic guidance, such as learning proper perineal hygiene.

"It wouldn't hurt to visit an expert, an OBGYN, just so that you know what the proper perineal hygiene is… It's so great that there's so much information, but sometimes it's also good to be critical about who to go to and ask for that information about," she added.
