Picture this: It's 2022. You're fully vaccinated (gurl, you gotta be). You're finally taking your *first* international flight in LITERALLY YEARS. The destination? New York! As always, one of the best parts of traveling is meeting new people, so you decide to start swiping.
A match! (It's been a while since you've had butterflies in your stomach.)
But the great thing is you don't have to stress over where to meet up because Bumble is opening a its own all-day cafe and wine bar. That's one less thing to worry about. ;)
They partnered up with Pasquale Jones from the Delicious Hospitality Group. This decision to take things *offline* was actually inspired by their Bumble Hive concepts from 2017. On their website, Bumble wrote, "Through these pop-ups, we offered our community an opportunity to enjoy food and drinks, foster connections, and experience entertainment and interactive sessions with entrepreneurs and thought-leaders, all in one place."
Bumble's cafe opens in July 2021
Now, they have a more permanent space where people can connect! Bumble Brew Cafe is set to open its doors on July 24 in the Nolita neighborhood in Manhattan. Initially, they'll be serving breakfast until 12:00 noon; starting July 31, they'll have lunch hours and finally, on August 7, people will be able to enjoy dinner at Bumble Brew Cafe.
According to an article published on Bloomberg, the menu will be "predominantly Mediterranean and vegetable-focused menu with dishes like morel mushroom omelets and grilled baby romaine with green goddess." At the bar, customers can enjoy dry-aged cheeseburgers and even pasta dishes like "spaghetti with summer zucchini and chitarra, a guitar-strand shape flavored with squid ink and served with crab."
