What Food Do They Serve At The Oscars?

Fanciest spread ever.

Warning: Don't read this if you haven't eaten anything substantial today or if you've been living on a prayer until your next paycheck, because you'll just end up asking, "What is this life?"

The Oscars is arguably the most awaited (and most prestigious) award show of the year. Don't believe us? Well, for years, the world wanted to know why Leonardo DiCaprio didn't have a damn Oscar statue, and when he won Best Actor for his performance in The Revenant, it took us a looong time to move on from it. Needless to say, the Oscars is a huge deal.

That's why we aren't surprised to find out that Hollywood stars are treated to a phenomenal spread after the two-hour show. Academy Award attendees don't actually eat anything during the show, but they're all invited to the Governor's Ball—the Oscars' official after-party—and that's where they go ham on some delicious eats.

Wolfgang Puck has been catering the feast for 22 years now, and he always delivers. This year, the menu consists of some of our indulgences—like burgers and pizza—but it also has gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free options. This is Hollywood, after all. Unlike our plebian selves, however, the stars are also served 5 Year Aged Gouda, Gold Dusted Truffled Popcorn, and Elderflower Champagne Parfait with Raspberry Espuma. We had to google what "espuma" is, tbh.

Oh, also, there will be 7,000 mini chocolate Oscars. Because why not?
