Rarely do you find a place where the ambiance is nice, food is sinfully satisfying--and you can even find a place to belt tunes! There's one in The Fort.
Featured
By now, college Cosmo chicks are in their first or second week of classes. And the rest of us, working gals, know what that means: stress is piling on big time. After a two-month long summer break, professors are in the mood for dishing heavy school load, to get students in the groove--fast. To stay sane, be sure to enjoy your weekends, whether you're just lounging around the house, partying with friends, or going on a food trip. Who says those group project meetings can't be fun? Make sure they are when you hold it outside of school. Visit some place different, like The Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill, The Fort.

One of the places you can check out there is good old Carlo's Pizza, which you used to only enjoy in Tagaytay or Baguio. Not only are their food selections great, the dishes are also allowance-friendly, since the big servings allow you to share them with the whole group! (This was in fact where the 12-strong team for Steven Silva's Cosmo Online Hunk shoot took their lunch break!)

Think you already know what to expect from Carlo's Pizza? Think again. Read on to find out what yummy dishes you simply must try and why you will enjoy frequenting this pizza hotspot.

Uniquely Carlo's

The Carlo's Pizza’s branch at The Venice Piazza has a fun and light atmosphere. With a seating capacity of 150 persons, so you can be sure that there’s space for even a big group (read: your whole block). It's great for group meetings, study sessions, and even block bonding, since they also have a function room for 30 people, if you want your own space, away from the rest of the diners. What's more, it boasts of a videoke system that you can enjoy when you reserve the room. So when the meeting is done, enjoy the rest of your tummy-filling dishes while belting out your favorite tunes. How's that for bonding and recreation after a stressful week? Of course, this private space is conducive for quieter functions, too.

More Than Just Your Usual Pizza

If you love being adventurous in your eats as you try to squeeze out all creative juices for your project planning, then you’ll surely love their famous Sardinia pizza (P290 for the regular size, good for two to three people), with its main topping being Spanish Sardines. Trust us, it may not sound like your typical pizza, but it definitely tastes delightful. You can also order large and family sizes if you’re a bigger group.

For a superb chicken treat, try their savory, sulit, and perfect for sharing Buffalo Wings (P475) served with rice and homemade ranch dressing. Their very own Mozzarella Cheese Sticks (P195) and Nacho Supremo (P275) are also sure hits among college foodies who enjoy finger-licking comfort foods while in study mode.
