Visit This Resto-Bakeshop For Some Sweet Bonding Moments

Satisfy your sweet tooth and fill your stomach with the delectable desserts and dishes offered by this quaint shop at Burgos Circle. Check it out with friends and your man.

If you're looking for a new place to meet up with the girls for lunch or with your man for a romantic dinner, Sweet Bella at Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City is a must-try spot. Founded by Tine Santiago, the restaurant and bakeshop started as a home-based business and eventually grew into a popular dining spot in Fort Bonifacio, specializing in sweets.

Main Course

But, they do offer a selection of delectable main dishes, which you can enjoy before you get to dessert. The Garden Mix Chicken Salad (P350) has got to be one of the most filling, most delectable salads you've ever tried. It has Romaine lettuce, chicken, mesclun greens, caramelized walnuts, cherry tomatoes, sweet grapes, feta cheese, gruyere, and Parmesan cheese served with either their homemade grape vinaigrette or a sweet honey mustard dressing.

For something light yet satisfying that you can share with the girls, order the 10-inch Seafood Pizza (P395), which is covered with oozing cheese, shrimp, salmon, spinach, and a special white sauce. The Quatro Funghi Pizza (P395), on the other hand, is a treat for mushroom lovers, as it is made up of four different types--oyster, button, shiitake, and winsu--topped with Parmesan cheese.

Your guy would love the Cafe Monster Burger (P550), which has eight ounces of USDA beef, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and tarty American cheese, instead of the usual cheddar or mozzarella, giving it a unique taste. It even has fried egg on top and is drizzled with buttery bearnaise sauce. Another beef specialty you'd want to try (and maybe share with your guy) is the USDA Beef Salpicao with Steak Rice (P450). Sweet Bella adds its own twist to the local dish with its high-grade beef that's part of their all-day Filipino Breakfast menu.

Main Event

Since Sweet Bella is first and foremost a bakeshop, you'll go crazy deciding what to get for dessert--they have such a vast selection. Start off by sampling their line of French Macarons (P480 for a box of eight, P960 for a box of 16, P1,080 for a round box of 18, and P1,800 for a round box of 30) that come in eight flavors: Salted Caramel, Strawberry, Chocolate, Lemon, Coffee, Passion Fruit, Rose, and White Coconut.

If you want something richer, try the popular Chocolata (P220 for petite, P1,200 for whole), layered chocolate cake topped with rich chocolate ganache. Love mousse? The Trio (P275 for petite, P1,500 for whole) allows you to sample three flavors in one delectable cake: coffee, dark chocolate, and white chocolate, all layered and blended to perfection. For something fruity and creamy, order the Banoffee (P95 for petite, P1,200 for whole), a banana cream pie topped with whipped Chantilly cream and ganache. Finally, if you want dessert but don't like it too sweet, get the Midnight Hazel Crunch (P130 for petite, P1,600 for whole), a pleasantly bittersweet cake made of dark chocolate mousse and hazelnut praline.
