Siargao, dubbed the surfing capital of the Philippines, boasts more than the world-class waves, beaches, and turquoise waters—the island is also home to one of the most bustling, exciting food scenes in the country.     One of the most popular breakfast spots in the surf town, Greenhouse has a menu of healthy dishes that use the freshest produce sourced from the island.     Barrel is an absolute must, with a bang-for-your-buck menu and their signature roast chicken that’s served with a white garlic sauce that can only be described as magical. Drop by on a Tuesday and you might lock eyes with someone over their weekly trivia night.

  6. Bulan

    This chef-run pizzeria does quality sourdough pizza, focaccia, and calzone. If your sweet tooth is calling for a nightcap, they also serve classic Italian desserts like panna cotta with mango sauce and a layered tiramisu.

    Location: Tourism Road, Barangay Catangnan, General Luna, Siargao Island, Surigao Del Norte
    Lamari’s set itself out to be one of the best places to party on the island, but don’t miss out on their poolside international eats: steak, duck confit, fish and chips, burgers, and a crowd-fave bolognese.

    Sharing space with the swag-filled Loose Keys Bar that mixes food, bar culture, and bespoke retail, CEV keeps it simple with a menu of ceviche and kinilaw. Their more adventurous picks include a mountainous Peruvian-inspired tiradito. Hang around for a tipple or two later in the evening.
