On September 29, President Rodrigo Duterte announced that Metro Manila and five other areas—Batangas province, the cities of Tacloban, Iloilo, Bacolod, and Iligan—will remain under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) in October. Apart from Lanao del Sur, the rest of the Philippines will be operating under Modified General Community Quarantine(MGCQ).

SM City Taytay in Rizal is getting ready to welcome people back today, October 14. They started disinfecting their cinemas! Don't worry, they'll be operating under the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
Based on the photos, SM City Taytay will be placing a two-seat gap in their cinemas to ensure the safety of viewers.
Temperature checks will also be done at every cinema's entrance, and people must wear face masks and face shields at all times.
According to reportr, the CRs will be cleaned every 30 minutes.
