Many first-time visitors to South Korea tend to prioritize Seoul, which is entirely understandable. As the country's capital, it's the most tourist-friendly for anyone looking to familiarize themselves with the rich and diverse Korean culture.
But if you have a bit more time in your hands—say, enough for two to three days (though you can easily spend more!)—you should seriously consider taking a trip down south to Korea's second-largest city, Busan. The port city gained worldwide recognition from Gong Yoo's hit zombie flick Train to Busan, but there's more to this place than the walking dead, as we soon learned.
