It’s no secret that you can find some of the Philippines’ prettiest islands in El Nido. It’s one of Palawan's most picturesque spots, and it’s frequently visited by both local and international tourists. There are so many places to visit and things to try when you head to El Nido—if you don’t know where to start, then we suggest booking an island-hopping tour.
The Department of Tourism’s (DOT) partner travel booking site, Guide to the Philippines, has a P1,200 tour that'll take you to six different places. The budget-friendly tour is inclusive of boat transfers, lunch, water, towel and entrance fees to Shimizu Island and Seven Commando Beach.
Where are you headed?
The adventure starts at Caera's Office Town Proper where a van will be waiting for you. From there, you will hit the road going to Miniloc Island—the jump-off point to your exciting destinations.
The first destination is Big Lagoon. Enjoy a dip in its pristine emerald waters and take photos of the towering solid limestone cliffs. Take note: A fee of P200 is collected by the Protected Area Management Board (PAMB) of El Nido for every entry.
Only a few minutes away is Shimizu Island, your next stop! The island has an abundant and diverse marine life, so you have to make it a point to go snorkeling there!
Once you’re finished exploring Shimizu Island’s rich ocean life, your tour guides will bring you to one of El Nido’s enchanting spots: the Secret Lagoon. To get to your swimming spot, you'll need to pass through a cave-like hole on a giant rocky wall.
The last stop of the tour is Seven Commandos Beach—it’s the perfect end to your adventure-filled day. Here, you can lay around, play in the powdery, white sand, and just take in the beauty of El Nido.
