Fashion Flipbook: JAG Origins

JAG brings Marie Claire's Creative Director and Project Runway judge Nina Garcia to Philippine shores.

International denim brand Jag Jeans showcased Filipina pride, beauty, and style for its Philippine Fashion Week 2013 show. Opening for its collection were Bb. Pilipinas candidates headed by Ms. Universe 2012 first runner-up, Janine Tugonon.

The popular jeans brand also teamed up with local designers like Jerome Salaya Ang, Jeffrey Rogador, and Norman Noriega, who all brought a touch of luxe to casual clothing.

Jerome's collection featured intricately-embellished frocks with cascading ruffles and digital prints, while Jeffrey's runway looks paid tribute to hip-hop and urban dressing. NormanĀ  focused on making menswear accessible to ladies by creating wrap dresses and jumpsuits from loose, flowy fabrics.

Spotted enjoying the show were celebrity stylists Liz Uy and Pam Quinones, designer Rajo Laurel, models Rissa Mananquil, Apples Aberin, Tweetie de Leon-Gonzales, and Jag's special guest, Marie Claire's Creative Director and Project Runway judge, Nina Garcia.
