Heart Evangelista, our forever style icon, recently flew to France to, in her own words, “eat and to meet certain people and just enjoy Paris with friends.” The actress constantly updated her social media accounts with snapshots of store visits, fancy dinners, and other touristy things, allowing us to live vicariously through her experiences.
Of course, this being Heart, we can always count on super stylish outfits every step of the way. First on the agenda, a meeting with Hermès executive Michael Coste! Do we smell a collaboration in the works? This is, after all, a woman who doesn’t just love her Birkins and Kellys, but has also made a business out of painting them!
For that special first day, which included a pit stop at quintessential Parisian café Angelina, Heart wore a structured Balmain blazer, a pleated metallic Jaspal mini, Aquazurra Mira platform heels, and an Hermès Himalayan crocodile Birkin.
The following day, the actress opted for an all-black outfit punctuated by a bright orange Birkin and glittery ankle socks.
Remember our trend reports about ruffles and extra-long sleeves? Heart’s a fan—just look at the details of her knit dress! Those Chanel brooches are something else, too.
Heart’s never without her high heels, even while traveling. We just had to ask, how does she do it?! Well, here’s her secret, divulged exclusively to Cosmo.ph: “Walk slowly, look around how pretty the place is, and you will forget your painful shoes!” LOL!
Heart was lucky enough to spend some time at Hermès’ private secret garden overlooking the rooftops of Paris. So beautiful!
She dropped by the Goyard store and the Jardin des Tuileries, too! The park’s carousel is the perfect OOTD spot, don’t you think?
The dramatic ruffles are back, this time in the form of a lace blouse. Paired with a hunter green coat and a plaid skirt, this is one look we’d totally spot front row at Fashion Week. Also, how gorgeous are her thigh-high suede boots?!
We can all pick up a layering trick or two from Heart!
Tip 1: Make a summery dress cold-weather appropriate by slipping a cozy turtleneck sweater underneath. Don’t forget the tights and boots.
Tip 2: Dress up a pair of jeans with a mix of textures and finishes. Note how she pulled a pair of thigh-high boots over her skinnies.
Next, add a bouclé jacket—hers is by Chanel, of course—and a heavy-duty coat draped over shoulders. Instagram-worthy!
Brb, DYING over this magnificent Valentino coat! <3 Just how many pieces of outerwear did this woman pack?
Heart’s accessory game is always on point. Check out the oxblood Christian Louboutin sandals and that furry TchiTchi bag charm!
Another day, another statement coat. This time around, Heart pairs a red Dolce & Gabbana pea coat and a quilted Chanel bag with more trend-driven looks—a camisole over a turtleneck, and ripped Zara jeans.
Heart shares that she planned all her outfits two weeks before the trip. Plus, “traveling with BFF/stylist Kat Cruz is super helpful!”
Love the mod ‘60s feel of this outfit, complete with a color-block shift dress and a fur vest.
Heart never feels home without the following essentials in her suitcase: “Leica camera, black trench, black boots, nude Loubs, and a Birkin with a rosary inside.”
And that’s a wrap! Until your next trip, Heart. <3
