Summer Runway Report: Day-To-Night Casual Pieces

Going somewhere after your eight-to-five shift? Save time, effort, and money by wearing glammed up casual pieces, as seen on Bench's Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012 show.

We love clothes, but you've got to admit it's a hassle to change from one outfit to another within the same day--say, from office attire to clubbing getup. Going home to change is a waste of time, bringing an extra set of clothes is inconvenient, and getting dolled up again is tiresome. The solution: Investing in versatile pieces and knowing how to transform dressed down looks into something glammed up will save you time, effort, and money (read: no need to buy two separate sets of outfits).

For inspiration, turn to the runways of local retail brand Bench at Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012, where they showcased their classic garments styled with sophisticated and trendy pieces for day-to-night looks, modeled by the biggest local stars. (The same show featured collections from sister brands Kashieca and Human.) Think glammed up casual shirts and flirty skirts for women and preppy polo shirts and dark pants for men.

Famous designer Randy Ortiz also created several pieces that are more formal and party-ready: sleeveless tops paired with harem pants for women, and printed gray shirts with red blazers for men. Then, complement your look and boost your confidence with the right underwear from Bench Body's luxurious new collection of sexy and romantic lingerie.

Tip: To transform your office or regular casual look for a party, just slip on your killer heels and pile on more jewelry. Check out styling ideas from the Bench fashion show when you launch the gallery.
