Possibly the first commercial retailer to do so, Zara has released a line of non-gender specific wardrobe pieces that work for girls and guys, Elle reports. The collection launched without much fanfare, simply popping up on the store’s website under the tab “Ungendered."
Comprised of everyday essentials in versatile colors like gray, navy, and white, Ungendered exudes a cool, minimalist aesthetic. Unlike most basic lines that differentiate items for men and women through fit and color, Ungendered is designed to flatter both the male and female form.
There’s a plain white tee that’s necessary in any closet.
