1. Watch out for the sun.
Go easy on shine-enhancing stylers because certain formulas can attract harmful rays. To further guard against the sun, use a protective spray to shield locks from UV damage.
2. Don't sweat it!
Engaging in vigorous activity like beach volleyball and water sports will naturally cause you to sweat a lot more. If you're planning to be active on the beach, wear a wide elastic headband to help absorb perspiration along your forehead, which can dull your color over time.
3. Protect against saltwater.
The sea may beckon you this summer, but before you dive in, be sure to take the necessary precautions to keep your hair looking gorgeous. Work a color-protective leave-in conditioner onto your locks, so that the water won't turn your mane brassy.
