As a newbie in the workforce, I'm all about affordable makeup products. I love high-end products just as much as the next girl, but if I can achieve the same effect from inexpensive brands, you already know which one I'm buying!
When I was tasked to do a full face using only Ever Bilena products for seven days, I was excited because they continuously put out products of high quality but with affordable prices.
Keep scrolling to read my week-long experience!
Here are the Ever Bilena products that I tried:
EB Advance Glow-Out Highlighter, P299, Lazada
EB Advance Vinyl Lip Gloss, P125, Lazada
EB Ultimatte Eyeshadow Palette, P220, Lazada
EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain, P165, Lazada
EB Kris Matte Lip Liner, P195, Lazada
(Ed's note: I didn't have the Ever Bilena foundation, mascara, brow products, and lipstick, so I just used items from different brands.)
Day 1: Monday
Product worn: EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain
I knew that I was just going to be hunched over my desk working the entire day. Only my teammates will see me, so I didn't need a ~glam lewk~. I just applied the Lip & Cheek Stain on my cheeks and on the bridge of my nose for a drunk blush look. I also filled in my brows to appear more put-together.
I've already tried Ever Bilena's lip tints in the past with its old formula, and it was okay, but the newly-reformulated stain is EVERYTHING. It's a gel, so it's easy to blend and work with. You can make it sheer or go all out with the pigment. Its staying power is pretty impressive, considering I have very oily skin. I only had to retouch in the afternoon.
Day 2: Tuesday
Products worn: EB Ultimatte Eyeshadow Palette, EB Advance Glow-Out Highlighter, and EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain
I had a little bit more time today, so I did a full face! I applied foundation just to even out my skin tone, and I also did my brows because they always have to be ~on point~. I put on a peach shade from the eyeshadow palette on my lids for a soft wash of color. I patted on a bit of the cheek stain so that I don't look pale and sickly. My final step was to apply some of the Glow-Out highlighter on the tip and bridge of my nose para cute lang.
Day 3: Wednesday
Products worn: EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain and Kris Matte Lip Liner
Another full day of working means I'll just be keeping my makeup minimal. I did my brows (total no-brainer), applied mascara to open up my peepers, and used the stain as a blush. I lined my lips using the Kris Matte Lip Liner in Loyal, and then colored my pout using an MLBB lippie.
I'm not into lip liners because I personally don't see the need for it. Using the Kris lip liner was an *~experience~*. It was creamy, so drawing on my lips was a breeze! I also like its retractable design because it doesn't require sharpening.
Day 4: Thursday
Products worn: EB Ultimatte Eyeshadow Palette, EB Advance Glow-Out Highlighter, EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain, and EB Advance Vinyl Lip Gloss
I had a relatively light workload today, so I decided to be more adventurous with my makeup! I put on some foundation, did my brows, and applied the darker orange hue from the eyeshadow palette on my lids. I also swept the blinding Glow-Out highlighter (my picture definitely doesn't do it justice) on my cheekbones and on the center of the lids. I finished my look with the clear Vinyl Lip Gloss, which I really loved! It was not sticky at all, and it didn't feel oily.
Day 5: Friday
Products worn: EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain
After four straight days of wearing makeup, I decided to let my skin rest for today. I went barefaced, save for the tiniest hint of the stain on my cheeks. (I look like death when I don't have any makeup on, haha!) It's also my dad's birthday today, and I'm happy to report that I still had a gorgeous stain on my cheeks by the end of the night.
Day 6: Saturday
Products worn: EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain and EB Advance Vinyl Lip Gloss
It's finally the weekend, hallelujah! I went to the mall with my family to do a bit of shopping. I knew that we were going to be doing a lot of walking, so I decided to go for a ~minimal lewk~. I just patted a bit of the stain on my cheeks and on the bridge of my nose (it looks so good in selfies taken under the sun, LOL!). I topped off my pout with gloss to make my lips look plumper and juicier.
Day 7: Sunday
Products worn: EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain
"How is it Sunday already?!" I asked myself. It felt like the week just flew by. I just lounged around the house today and enjoyed my last day of relaxation. I just used the stain on my cheeks since it was only my family and my dog who'll see me, haha!
Even though it's a brand that's been here for a long time, I never really tried any of Ever Bilena's makeup except for their old lip tint formula. This week-long experiment felt like finding new friends! As a girl fresh out of college, I appreciate the affordable prices of their products.
I want to give special shout-outs to the EB Advance Glow-Out Highlighter and the EB Advance Vinyl Lip Gloss. The powder highlighter can be blinding or subtle, depending on how much you pack on your face. The lip gloss, on the other hand, is perfect if you're looking for an affordable clear lip gloss that isn't sticky. Aside from the two items mentioned, I'm excited to play with more colors from the EB Ultimatte Eyeshadow Palette. I don't put on eyeshadow that much, but the warm hues of this palette made me more experimental!
