Here at Cosmo.ph, we're big fans of highlighter. It gives us a fresh, glowing complexion even if we barely had eight hours of sleep last night (*cough* Crash Landing On You *cough*) This superstar makeup product, however, isn't just limited to the tops of our cheekbones. Below, we've compiled all the other cool ways you can use it:

  1. Functions as an eyeshadow.

Don't have a shimmery shadow? No worries—your highlighter can work in a pinch! Dab it on the center of your lids for a beautiful ~halo~ effect.

  2. Turns a regular foundation to a dewy formula.

To score a beautiful, dewy glow without going ham on your highlighter, mix a liquid shimmer with your foundation. You'll look "fresh lang" and radiant ASAP!

  3. Works as an all-over glow-boosting product.

Summer is slowly creeping in and we can't wait to go to the beach! To complete your tanned look, apply highlighter on your decolletage and shoulders—you'll look absolutely radiant when the sunlight hits those areas!

  5. Serves as an ingredient for a DIY shimmer mist.

Here's the sitch: You accidentally dropped your favorite powder and it cracked. Sure, you can put it back together using a few drops of rubbing alcohol, or you can make a completely new product—a shimmering mist! All you need are baby oil and your crushed highlighter. Check out beauty YouTuber Kendall Alfred's genius tutorial here:

  6. Disguises a tired appearance.

Aside from sweeping them on the usual areas such as the tops of your cheekbones and the tip of your nose, applying it on the inner corner of your eyes is a glow-boosting hack, too! This trick will make your eyes appear bigger and you'll look more awake.
