Another tale as old as time is the concept of how much sunscreen is enough to protect your face and body from sun damage. You might think you're applying too much because your entire body is covered in a white cast, but sorry to disappoint you—you're probs not applying enough!
According to , "you should use approximately two milligrams of sunscreen per square centimeter of skin. In practice, this means applying the equivalent of a shot glass (two tablespoons) of sunscreen to the exposed areas of the face and body—a nickel-sized dollop to the face alone."
P.S. The Huffington Post reports that suggesting specific amounts of sunscreen is not that reliable because we all have different body types and structures (so true). Which is why the best approach to sunscreen is to "use enough to evenly cover the skin." And when it doubt, SLATHER MORE ON.
Remember, CGs, protecting your skin from the sun will prevent a whole set of problems in the future!
