Andrea Torres couldn't have picked a better time to share photos from her recent photoshoot inspired by the Netflix series Bridgerton. Aside from the truly *aesthetic* snaps, she also paired the photos with captions perfect for the celebration of International Women's Month.
"You think that just because I am a woman, I am incapable of making my own choices?" - Daphne Bridgerton, Bridgerton
The series of photos did not only nail the signature looks from the Shonda Rhimes show, it also applied romantic influences from the classic book Pride And Prejudice set during the Regency Era. According to Andrea's caption, the shoot was primarily inspired by the strength of the female protagonists of both titles.
"We, women, can be the heroine in our own life story because we have and will always have that power (may it be in an Empire-waist dress, in a tight corset, or just plain pajamas)."
"This International Women’s Month, I am enjoined and empowered by a wonderful team who worked passionately for making this shoot come to life."
"This time, I take control, just like all the women who make their way in the world, no laced corsets will suffocate and get in my way."
