BTS' V Will Make Hearts Melt As He Sings 'Sweet Night' For The 'Itaewon Class' OST

On March 13, production company, VLENDING, dropped the song “Sweet Night” for the OST of Itaewon Class featuring none other than BTSV.

The indie-pop song was produced by V himself, and it marks the K-pop singer’s first solo OST release.

Itaewon Class star Park Seo Joon, who also happens to be close friends with V after both starring in Hwarang: Poet Of Youth, even promoted the song on his Instagram account:

Soompi reported that V spoke about how he felt about being able to participate in the K-drama’s OST. V said, “I read the original webtoon Itaewon Class before seeing the drama and I remember that I enjoyed reading it, while also learning some life lessons from the story.”

V continued, “The character of Park Sae Roy left a particularly deep impression on me, and I really like him. So I’m really thrilled that a close friend of mine, whom I really like, is playing the role of Park Sae Roy.”

“I’m grateful to be able to take part in such a great drama with a self-composed song of mine. I hope that you’ll show it a lot of love,” V added.

V’s participation in the Itaewon Class OST was first confirmed on March 9
