Rise and shine, Pilipinas! We've got another update on what seems to be the never-ending Barretto saga. So, sit back, relax, and scroll down.

Past midnight today, October 18, it was reported by ABS-CBN News that Claudine Barretto was hospitalized after getting into an alleged fight with her sister Marjorie Barretto. The altercation reportedly happened during the wake of their father Miguel Barretto, who passed away on Tuesday, October 15.

According to Ruby Baguhin, an assistant of their older sister Gretchen Barretto, Claudine was "attacked" by Marjorie at the wake and that Marjorie's daughter, Julia, was also involved in the incident. Claudine reportedly sustained a hand injury and felt dizzy after the altercation and was rushed to the hospital.

So how in the world did the fight start in the first place? Well, it actually even involves President Rodrigo Duterte. On Wednesday night, October 16, the President attended the wake to pay his respects to the Barretto family. Gretchen, who's long been estranged with her family (excluding Claudine 'cause they patched things up this year), also went to the wake and reconciled with her mother, Inday Barretto. When the President requested Gretchen and Marjorie to shake hands out of respect for their father, Marjorie allegedly refused to do so. This led to a fight involving several members of the Barretto clan with the Presidential Security Group having to break it up.

Whew! You getting that? 'Cause I am legit confused at this point.
