Cosmo Online Hunk Jaco Benin: The Guy Who Would Go Easy On Your Heart

This week, Jaco talks about heartbreak, and gives girls helpful tips for moving on. Attaboy! His third photo gallery is easy on the eyes, too!

You can count on an artist to know what it means to fall in and out of love--then make something beautiful out of it. Our August Cosmo Online Hunk Jaco Benin--a budding actor and musician--proves that he can do just that. This week, Jaco shares his thoughts on dealing with problems of the heart.

In the last couple of weeks, he talked to us about his life as a new showbiz hottie and as a real man with great dreams and values. But this week, he reveals more of his thoughts on love--and how he moves on from love. And, he doesn't just tell you how he'd handle being heartbroken; he also reveals how he handled having to break someone's heart, which can be just as difficult.

Check out Jaco's interview below, and launch the gallery afterwards to see his third batch of gorgeous photos.

How do you know you're in love?

I think it's a feeling. You just know when you're in love.

What is a definite deal-breaker when it comes to relationships?

I think it depends on the relationship. Kasi most people say if you cheat, then it's done, but some people will forgive pa rin, some would give a second chance. So I think it depends on your relationship with each other, on how far you're willing to go.

What are the red flags girls should watch for when a guy is considering breakup?

Maybe when the guy looks at her in a different way. Not like the first time na he's always caring. Parang she became less of a priority to him. I think girls know that naman.

Have you ever had your heart broken?

Yes.

What do you do when you're missing someone?

I text her. Tapos wala. Kung galing breakup, I'll try to fix it, the best way I can, but I'll know my limit at the same time.

What songs do you listen to when you're heartbroken?

I listen to any music. But most of the time, I get to write songs. Doon ako nakakapagsulat talaga.

What's the best way to get over somebody? And how do you know for sure that you're over them?

Look for a better one! (Laughs.) Joke lang. Siguro, you have to love yourself again. Kasi if he broke up with you tapos you're still glued to him or vice versa; parang people outside would even say that you deserve someone better so I think you should love yourself first. When you realize na maybe there is someone better for you, well, that's the time na you can let go and move on.

What do you think of rebounds?

I don't think a rebound would really help at all.

Have you ever broken someone's heart? How did you handle it?

It's hard when you break someone's heart lalo na if you love her [or him]. Pero I think the best way to bounce back is to just be there for them. Even if they don't want you to, try to comfort them. I think for me, it's being open and honest to each other. I think communication is a very, very big tool for success in your relationships; you shouldn't hide anything. Even if sometimes, what you're going to tell the person might hurt, pero it's better e. If you look at the bigger picture, it's actually better na malaman na niya 'yon.
