David Lichauco, Barbie Forteza Did Not Get Along At First

David Licauco just revealed something very interesting about how his relationship began with his Maria Clara At Ibarra co-star and love team partner, Barbie Forteza: Apparently, she didn't get along with him at first!

While guesting on Bea Alonzo's YouTube channel to participate in her "Lie Detector Challenge", Bea said that Barbie had been one of her earlier challengers and that she had initially not gotten along with a co-star, whom she did not name.

"...tinanong ko siya kung meron siyang hindi kasundo, na hindi nakasundo na co-star. Sabi niya 'Yes' pero we’re speculating ikaw 'yon. Sa tingin mo ba ikaw yung tinutukoy niya?"

"Ako ‘yon," David confirmed, going on to share how Barbie was initially annoyed with him.

"Nake-kuwento niya lang no'n sa 'kin nung shoot namin, siguro three weeks ago," David shared. "Parang tinanong ko sa kanya na, 'Ba’t mo ba ko hate dati?' Sabi niya kasi lagi daw akong late tapos 'di daw ako nagso-sorry, gano'n. 'Yon. Tapos kuwinento ko sa kanya kung bakit ako nale-late."

Apparently, David is dealing with a certain condition that affects his breathing! Oh, no.

"May sleep apnea kasi ako," he said. "Basically, my breathing stops for like mga 30 seconds late 24 times in an hour. So all throughout the night, hirap ako, e. So stressed ako. So paggising ko ng umaga, I’m stressed also. So I have to work out, I have to meditate and all that stuff for me to be normal."

It looks like that's all water under the bridge because David also confirmed in the interview that they're good friends. "Stronger than ever," in fact, he described it. In fact, they even have inside jokes in their tweets to each other!

For instance, Barbie says David always calls her "Barbie Fretty."
