EXO ended 2019 on a high note after wrapping up their successful EXO PLANET #5 – EXplOration [dot] concerts on December 29, 30, and 31 in Seoul, South Korea. But what made their first show super special was the attendance of D.O.! ICYDK, our dear Kyungsoo broke hearts in July 2019 when he made a quiet exit from the K-pop industry to enlist in the military.
According to Soompi, D.O. was currently on military leave when he was spotted at EXO's December 29 concert. At one point in the show, his brothers acknowledged his presence and asked him to stand up. The usually reserved Kyungsoo actually did so and smiled and waved to the crowd! He was also seen taking videos and pictures all throughout the concert. Huhu, so precious!
EXO released this sweet snap of Kyungsoo with the rest of EXO (Chanyeol, Kai, Chen, Suho, Sehun, and Baekhyun) taken after the concert.
D.O. is reported to be discharged from military service in January 2021. EXO's eldest member, Xiumin, is also currently serving in the military and will return from his service in December 2020.
