The *healing* series Extraordinary Attorney Woo is currently receiving sooooooo much love from around the world! To thank the actors and staff for their hard work, the team behind the K-drama is reportedly organizing a reward vacation for them.
With just seven episodes released, Extraordinary Attorney Woo has been basking in its well-deserved success. This includes garnering double-digit TV ratings in South Korea, topping Netflix's global top 10 charts (non-English TV) for two consecutive weeks, and reviewing multiple offers for an international remake. Some scenes in the show have also trended on social media, like Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) and Dong Geu Ra Mi (Joo Hyun Young)'s iconic friendship greeting which was ~recreated~ by some of our favorite K-pop idols.
Based on a report by Korean media outlet Sports Dong-A, the Extraordinary Attorney Woo team is currently looking for a vacation spot where they can spend seven days and six nights of pure relaxation. Yay!
ICYDK, it's common in the Korean entertainment industry to celebrate the success (a.k.a double-digit ratings) of a K-drama by going on a holiday abroad with the entire cast and production crew. An example would be when the Sky Castle team went to Phuket, Thailand in 2019 after reaching 23.78% in the drama's final episode. In the same year, the cast of Hotel Del Luna traveled to Bangkok, Thailand after the massive success of the fantasy series. And how can we forget when the My Id Is Gangnam Beauty cast visited Cebu?
Extraordinary Attorney Woo tells the story of Woo Young Woo, the first Korean lawyer on the autism spectrum. As she solves different cases, viewers get to discover her heart of gold, passion for the law, and love for whales. You can watch new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m on Netflix.
