Are you ready, Stranger Things fans? Netflix has an upcoming show called I Am Not Okay With This, which is based on a graphic novel by Charles Forsman and produced by Stranger Things' Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen.
This dark comedy stars Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff who were both in the IT movies, and Sofia Bryant. According to Netflix, the show will tell the story of a teenage girl named Sydney "who's navigating the trials and tribulations of high school, all while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her."
Hollywood Reporter writes that Syd (Sophia) is a seemingly normal teenager who kinda has feelings for her best friend (Sofia). Syd's ~awkward but cool~ neighbor Stanley (Wyatt) also becomes a big part of her life. PLUS, Syd discovers that "she has telekinetic powers that may prove to be problematic."
And if you think the show's *aesthetic* is super familiar, it's because The End Of The F***ing World Jonathan Entwistle is also working on it. A trailer hasn't been released yet but you can start streaming I Am Not Okay With This on Netflix starting February 26.
