Korean actor Ji Soo entered the industry in the late 2000s and was famous for his many second lead roles. According to Viki, Ji Soo acted in stage productions and short films before getting his big break in the shows Angry Mom (2015) and Sassy Go Go (2015).

He is currently the subject of controversy after he was accused of committing school violence in the past. The actor released a handwritten letter of apology on social media, where he said: "Upon my knees, I sincerely apologize to everyone who has been hurt by me."

The plot, according to Netflix: "A competitive swimmer crosses paths with his childhood friend, a rising weight lifting star, and realizes that she has a secret crush on his cousin." Ji Soo had a special role in the drama as Bok Joo's co-worker, and Joon Hyung (played by Ji Soo's best friend Nam Joo Hyuk) gets super jealous of him in the show.

10. River Where The Moon Rises (2021) 

The plot: The drama tells the story of Princess Pyeonggang, "a determined lady who aspires to be the leader of Goguryeo." Ji Soo plays On Dal, "a guy who is willing to do anything for her." KBS released an official statement saying that Ji Soo will be stepping down from the role and another actor will replace him as the leading man. On March 5, 2021, it was also reported that the ongoing drama has finished 95 percent of its filming.
