Dear John Ambrose fans, I know we're all still giddy with feels after watching To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. Admit it: you're kinda #TeamJohn now (Sorry, Peter K). It's time to get to know more about the actor who SO CHARMINGLY played the role, Mr. Jordan "I can make you melt just by looking at you" Fisher:
1. Jordan was born on April 24, 1994.
Here are some of his baby/childhood pics:
For his 25th birthday last year, the To All The Boys cast and crew, together with Jenny Han, gave him a chocolate cake with his name written in Reese's peanut butter cups, just like Lara Jean's famous cake in the books!
2. He's an AMAZING singer.
The fact that John Ambrose's voice over in To All The Boys already got you swooning is not surprising. Jordan's music career kicked off in 2014, when he sang several pop-soul songs on Radio Disney. At present, he has released several successful singles and one self-titled EP.
3. Jordan also dances and is one hell of a performer.
He won the reality show Dancing With The Stars in 2017, where he was paired with professional dancer Lindsay Arnold. He went on to host Dancing With The Stars: Juniors in 2018.
4. He's been featured in TV shows ever since he was a teen.
His acting credits include The Secret Life Of The American Teenager, Teen Wolf, Teen Beach Movie, and Liv And Maddie. And in case you were wondering, yes, that was really him playing the piano in P.S. I Still Love You! You won't be able to find that track anywhere because Jordan improvised that melody.
If you want more piano-playing Jordan, here's a throwback video of him in the Disney Channel TV series Liv And Maddie:
5. He also does musical theater!
In 2016, he was cast as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton in the hit Lin Manuel Miranda musical Hamilton, he appeared in Grease: Live (2016) as Doody, and he starred as Mark Cohen in the 2019 TV production of RENT: Live. Jordan is currently starring in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen.
6. He's set to star in a film called Wait For It.
Not much is known about the movie yet, but we do know that it's going to be a Netflix Original dance film about a high school senior (Sabrina Carpenter) "whose admission to the college of her dreams depends on a dance competition."
7. Jordan is—wait for it—a gamer.
It's even in his Twitter bio! His fave games are Kingdom Hearts II, Halo 3, Super Smash Bros Melee, and WoW. Just look at him playing Overwatch below:
8. He's super close to his niece Aubrey.
And the rest of his family, of course. His IG is full of their sweet moments! Look how adorbs:
9. He's a dog person!
JOHN AMBROSE—A DOG PERSON? Why am I not surprised?! At present, Jordan has a dog named Kairi. He said goodbye to his dog Sora in 2018, who passed away after a long battle with bone cancer.
10. Lastly...he's taken.
Jordan and Ellie Woods met when he was only 13 years old, and they were best friends growing up. They're actually ENGAGED now. He proposed to Ellie in 2019 and was literally SOBBING when got down on one knee!
Here's the full proposal video:
