Miss Universe Philippines hopeful Kisses Delavin recently sat down with Boy Abunda for "The Purple Chair Interview" uploaded on the host's YouTube channel on September 10.

Among the things that Boy and Kisses talked about was how Pinoy Big Brother changed the 22-year-old's life. Kisses appeared in Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 where she placed second after Maymay Entrata.

"I think it didn't affect me too much as the others. I think I was already desensitized to it because when I was in Masbate, the people there know each other," Kisses said.  "When you're Miss Masbate, it's almost like you're Miss Universe. So, I went to Manila and PBB came, it's almost like I was prepared for it already."

When asked if Kisses had a game plan for PBB, the actress revealed that she didn't want to win the reality TV show. "I really wanted not to win PBB because I always thought it would defeat the purpose because it's a talent show and the winner has to have all these car or house and lot and I didn't really need that, Tito Boy, I just wanted to get into showbiz," Kisses revealed.

Kisses added that since she was small, her parents would always tell her that she's able to live through everything. The actress shared that she had dengue twice and had five platelets left and her doctor said that if they weren't in the hospital at the right time, she would have been gone.

"My mother and father always told me that maybe I have a mission," Kisses said. "So I look at my skill set and I think this is the right job for me. So if this is what's for me, I will really do my best and I enjoy showbiz also, it's not too much of a stretch."

When Boy asked Kisses how her life changed because of showbiz, the actress said, "It all flashed back to me, everything that has happened because of that time. Looking back, it's so easy to say that it's been a great time. I was so blessed but also I was just 17. I know that a lot of younger people also go into showbiz but it was a different kind of level of fame for a 17-year-old girl."
