Meet The *Star-Studded* Cast Of Korea's 'Money Heist' Adaptation

There's been a casting change!

*June 1, 2021 Update* 

In today's casting news: Soompi reports that due to scheduling conflicts, Park Jung Woo will not be able to play the role of Rio anymore (he's currently filming the drama Fly High Butterfly). But don't worry because former child actor Lee Hyun Woo has now been cast as Rio! Lee Hyun Woo's previous projects include The Liar And His Lover (2017), Moorim School (2016), and To The Beautiful You (2012). Congrats, Hyun Woo!

You guys, Netflix just ~unveiled~ the cast of Korea's Money Heist adaptation and I'm telling you: IT'S FREAKING STAR-STUDDED. A lot of them are super familiar to us by now, such as the talented Jeon Jong Seo, who recently starred in The Call, and Kim Ji Hoon who played gwapo  Baek Hee Song in Flower Of Evil! There's also Park Myung Hoon, whom we last saw in Crash Landing On You and Parasite

According to Netflix, the adaptation will have 12 episodes and will "center around members of the gang recruited by the Professor, hostages, and Task Force Team tackling the heist." The remake is directed by Kim Hong Sun and produced by BH Entertainment + Contents Zium.
