Okay, so picture this. You're a 15-year-old teen again (no, this isn't a nightmare) and you have more than a few zits you'd like to get rid of because, duh, zits suck! So what do you do? You look up to your favorite teen starlet, Millie Bobby Brown, for some skincare tips now that she launched Florence by Mills, her new line of skincare and makeup!
Lucky for you, Millie posts a video explaining her nighttime skincare routine with her products. You likely thought it was going to be the answer to your prayers, but in the video, Millie doesn't even wash her face. In the great words of Billie Ray Cyrus, "What to heck?"
This is exactly what happened earlier this week. Millie posted a video to the Florence by Mills YouTube page to detail what she called her "nighttime skincare routine." In the video, she used five products from the line: Zero Chill Face Mist, Get That Grime Face Scrub, Clean Magic Face Wash, Dreamy Dew Moisturizer, and Glow Yeah Lip Oil. And while it was a great way to highlight the products, Millie didn't wet her face or remove her eyeliner, and she applied some of the skincare steps out of order. So naturally, fans of hers were a little confused.
Following the response, Millie decided to issue an apology about the video. On her Instagram, she used her iPhone Notes app to explain that she's still learning about the beauty space.
"I'm still learning the best way to share my routines as I get to know this space better—I'm not an expert. I thought doing a quick video replicating my personal process for that night was okay, but that's not what was conveyed. I understand, I appreciate all of your feedback on this journey, please keep sharing your thoughts and I will too!"
It truly sounds like Millie is sorry and trying her best to learn more about the beauty industry. So let's try to chill and remember that she's only 15, mmkay?
