Different dance covers of Sarah Geronimo's "Tala" have been popping up all over the internet, but here's one you *probably* haven't seen before: Sisters Faye, Gracles, and Nathalie Dela Rosa did the challenge in different locations in South Korea!
Their dance vid, which was posted in December 2019, features the "Gangnam Style" statue, Marinabay Seoul, Hanok Bukchon Village, Everland Theme Park, Gangnam District, Nami Island, Gangwon-do Elysian Gangchon Ski Resort, and the Gyeongbokgung Palace—where they even wore hanboks.
The vid was filmed during their family trip, and according to Nathalie, they've been big fans of the song since 2016. The sisters love dancing and they call their *girl group* Go, Team, Girls 3.
In a quick chat with Nathalie over Facebook Messenger, she shared a few interesting deets about their video with Cosmopolitan: "My sister Faye edited the video and thought of the concept. Our youngest, Gracles, is a dance artist so she was assigned to teach us the choreography. I was assigned, together with [our] older brother and sister, to choose a perfect spot in every location."
Released in 2015, "Tala" once again topped the charts early this year when people started posting their covers of the famous—and super catchy—dance craze. Some Twitter peeps claim that the person we have to thank for this *resurgence* is a drag queen named Bench Hipolito, who did an awesome performance of "Tala."
According to its songwriter Nica Del Rosario, "Tala" is actually based on her experience of *falling* really fast for someone she dated. It's basically the theme song of those who are marupok!
Early in January, celeb couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde also posted their own cover, with Arjo joking: "The things I do for you."
