We've got a couple of days to go until Lee Min Ho's comeback drama, The King: Eternal Monarch, drops on Netflix on Friday, April 17. Yeah, we've waited three long years for our OG oppa's return to the small screen and we couldn't be more stoked about it. Butttt, TBH, there's a whole other reason why we're literally counting the days 'til The King premieres, and it's 'cause of the drama's equally ~dreamy~ second lead Woo Do Hwan.

Don't know much about him? Here's a quick rundown of your next new obsession (yup, we're claiming it!):

Woo Do Hwan plays TWO ROLES in The King: Eternal Monarch.

The whole premise of the drama is about the co-existence of two parallel worlds: one, Korea as a constitutional monarchy, and the other being Korea as a republic. And this means that a version of the same person exists in both worlds. According to Soompi, Do Hwan plays two roles in The Kingin the monarchy, he is the chief imperial bodyguard and best friend of Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho), while in the republic, he's a public service worker at the National Police Agency's civil service office. His polarizing roles also give him two very different looks and we're loving the ~duality~ of it all.
