So Hyun (Lee Min Ji) is a teenage runaway who only has her boyfriend, Jung Ho (Lee Hak Joo), to run to. She is faced with devastating emotions after the only person who seems to accept her has left her. She meets Jane (Goo Kyo Hwan) by coincidence, a transgender woman, and eventually joins Jane's group of odd runaways. So Hyun then finds comfort in the group and feels loved, like they're a real family.


Goo Kyo Hwan's role in this film was really notable as he earned himself multiple Best New Actor awards in the film category, including the 2018 54th Baeksang Arts Awards!

2. Peninsula (2020)

Remember the famous zombie-film Train To Busan? Well, Peninsula is the marketed sequel of the movie which takes place four years after. In Hong Kong, Jung Seok (Kang Dong Won), Chul Min (Kim Do Yoon), and their team were sent on a mission to go back to the peninsula to recover a truck containing 20 million USD. Captain Seo (Goo Kyo Hwan) of Unit 631, along with Sergeant Hwang (Kim Min Jae) and their group, ambushed Jung Seok’s team while they were on their way back to Incheon Port with the truck.

Kingdom: Ashin Of The North is a drama special that gives light to the character of Ashin (Jun Ji Hyun), who appeared at the end of the second season of Kingdom. This side story is all about Ashin’s revenge due to the loss of her family and her tribe living in the Northern village of Seongjeoyain. When the Pajeowi people were killed, Commander Min Chi Rok (Park Byung Eun) framed the Seongjeoyain for their deaths—which brought the Pajeowi people, led by Ai Da Gan (Goo Kyo Hwan), to kill everyone in the tribe except for Ashin (who wasn’t in the village when it happened).

5. Monstrous (2022)

Monstrous is a series about an ongoing curse from a thing that lures people, and should not have been let out to the world.
