What To Know About Starbucks' New Rewards Program

Good news: There's now an easier way to collect Stars and redeem rewards.

In May 2020, Starbucks announced that they'll be discontinuing their Starbucks Rewards card. The silverlining: We were promised a new rewards program, and it's finally here! 


Starting July 17, with this new program, customers can now get one Star with every P25 spent on almost everything they buy in stores using their registered card or app. Don't worry, you have until July 15 to use your old stars.

Every time you hit 100 stars, you'll have the option of redeeming a reward for their favorite handcrafted beverage, any pastry, or slice of cakeon the house.


And if that's not enough to get you to join, you can also get twice as many Stars whenever you buy something on the first seven days after joining the program. And every month, a "Double Star Day" will be unlocked!

You *need* be a registered member to avail of these rewards; to join, new customers will need to activate and register a Starbucks Card. Old customers can simply update their password via the website or the app.
