On Sunday, July 11, Jennica Garcia took to Instagram to address all the concerns she's been getting about her weight. The actress opened up about how her father was also worried about her health, which is why they went to the hospital for a checkup in April. The results were normal.
Jennica shared, "My Ninay and I discovered that my heart is smaller than how it should be when I was only seven years old...That is why it is not unusual for me to faint/collapse when feeling an extreme emotion crying/excitement but again, other than that, everything is normal."
Posting a throwback photo of herself with fellow moms Chynna Ortaleza and Chariz Solomon, Jennica said that their body frames haven't changed. She continued, "I am not underweight. I do not exercise or follow a diet either to be in the body shape that I am in. Last time I exercised, hindi pa po ako nanay."
Jennica also spoke about her "kain po tayo" post from June 29. People assumed she was eating a small portion of food because she was filming a show: "Hindi po konti 'yun. 'Yun ang pagkain ng lahat ng tao dito sa Las Hermanas. Hindi lang naka plato kaya mukhang konti but that is one cup of rice with two chicken parts. The production feeds us well."
Jennica plans on focusing on her health more, detailing that she'll begin exercising in August and that she wants to eat more vegetables even though she loves food like "ox brain, bone marrow, proben, buttered crabs, and shrimp." Ending her Instagram post, she said, "Kailangan talaga mag-exercise kahit po payat not for weight loss but to live longer at makasabay sa mga physical activities ng ating mga anak."
